Your Help Is needed for the Welcoming Task

Posted on behalf of Ginny Phillips - vboemer@earthlink.net

Dear family,

As the welcoming leader, I thought it would be great if we all knew a bit about one another before we got together. I would like each family to complete the survey below on every family member whether they are attending the reunion or not. I will then compile the information and send it to everyone in a word document. Families then can review the information prior to the reunion. I will also have the information available in the welcoming baskets at the hotel.

I figure it will be most helpful for the children and help each one of us enjoy the photomotage a bit more. At some point I will work with Charlie to add the survey information on to the blog as one entry. So, if there is any information you do not want posted on the blog, please annotate it.

Please return your answers to vboemer@earthlink.net by 18 Jun 08. I will need enough time to compile and put it into a presentable document for everyone.

1. What is your name and nickname?

2. How old are you (mostly for the kids)?

3. What city do you live in?

4. What is your current job title or if you are a student, what school do you attend?

5. What is your favorite school subject?

6. Do you have a favorite sports team, if so what team is it?

7. When you are not working or going to school, what do you like to do?

8. Do you have a great experience you would like to share with your family? Maybe it is a proud moment for you or a funny childhood memory or something your children did the is unique?

9. Do you have any events upcoming or just occurred such as a wedding, graduation, baby, new house, blind date, winning the lotto?

10. Anything else you would like to share that could help us know you a bit better?

For the elders, it would be great if we could add some history on the Bruce generations before you. Maybe a good memory you have with them, maybe someone could fill out the survey for them, maybe you know of some great facts you would like to share with family reunion attendees about your family history.

Ginny
